If you do your banking in person, you may have already met Sophana Tann, who joined New Resource in October as administrative assistant/client services and mans the front desk.
Sophana greets bank visitors, handles phone requests, and supports the branch sales and operations department. Sophana was seeking a work environment that was personal and genuine, where employees really care for their clients—and he says he found that at New Resource. “At times I forget we’re a bank, due to the many clients who walk in and know everyone by name,” says Sophana, who honed his customer-service skills as a shift manager at Starbucks.
