New Resource takes leadership role on climate

New Resource Bank

New Resource has joined the Advisory Committee of the Business Council on Climate Change (BC3) , a partnership of San Francisco Bay Area businesses committed to cutting their greenhouse gas emissions.  BC3 members agree to reduce their climate change impact, be active leaders in the community, develop dialogue and coordinate activities with policy makers, share best practices and disclose their activities. “It’s a great fit for us because not only do we support these principles, they’re actually part of our mission, and we can serve as a resource on broader sustainability issues,” says New Resource Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer Bill Peterson, the bank’s representative on the committee.
