New Resource becomes a CDP signatory

Author :
New Resource Bank

New Resource Bank is proud to announce that we have become a signatory of the CDP. Formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project, this international nonprofit provides the only global system for companies and cities to measure, disclose, manage and share vital environmental information. The CDP works with market forces to motivate companies to disclose their impacts on the environment and natural resources and take action to reduce them.

“By becoming a CDP signatory, we are supporting an important organization working to prevent climate change as well as demonstrating our commitment to our own core values,” said Stephanie Meade, New Resource director of marketing and sustainability. “Our mission is built around promoting sustainable living in our community, and to achieve this we must consider the long-term perspective. Only by acting collectively can we make a real impact on sustainability in the years to come.”

As a signatory, New Resource is joining more than 760 financial institutions including banks, pension funds, investment managers, insurers, foundations, private equity investors and others to support CDP’s work.
