New Resource Bank is offering a new personal finance service called Money Manager for free to all banking customers. Money Manager is a service from Yodlee, an online banking account aggregation service, which offers more personal-finance tracking and tighter log-in security than other systems in use today. The new service can be used by personal account holders as well as small businesses.

Over the past few years, many business banking customers around the country have experienced fraud on their accounts as a result of viruses or trojans that have infected the computers used to do online banking. It’s been shown that fraudsters have managed to find a way around every online banking security procedure that has been put in place.

New Resource Bank is upgrading our online banking system to give customers more powerful tools, greater flexibility and a better user experience—all while maintaining our current strict security standards.
New features will include mobile banking; a customizable dashboard so you can see what you want to see when you log in; a new financial management tool called Money Manager, available to business and personal banking customers; expanded money transfer options; and streamlined log-ins.

As part of its work with the Business Council on Climate Change (BC3), New Resource Bank is now serving on the advisory board for San Francisco’s nine-year-old Climate Action Plan (CAP), an aggressive effort to drive down the city’s greenhouse gas emissions.

New Resource has joined the Advisory Committee of the Business Council on Climate Change (BC3) , a partnership of San Francisco Bay Area businesses committed to cutting their greenhouse gas emissions. BC3 members agree to reduce their climate change impact, be active leaders in the community, develop dialogue and coordinate activities with policy makers, share best practices and disclose their activities. “It’s a great fit for us because not only do we support these principles, they’re actually part of our mission, and we can serve as a resource on broader sustainability issues,” says New Resource Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer Bill Peterson, the bank’s representative on the committee.
